How Many New Crypto Tokens Launch Every Day? (Live Tracker)
— By Tony Rabbit in Tutorials
See how many new crypto tokens launch per day, live and by blockchain. DEXTools tracks new token launches across Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Chain and more in real time.
Every day, thousands of brand-new crypto tokens are created on decentralized exchanges across dozens of blockchains. The tracker above counts them live: how many new tokens launched in the last hour, broken down by chain, plus an estimated daily total.
How many new crypto tokens launch per day?
The number swings with market activity, but the pace runs into the tens of thousands per day across major chains. The live tracker shows the current rate instead of a stale monthly headline, so you always see what is happening right now. Solana and Base usually lead, with BNB Chain and Ethereum close behind.
How we measure new token launches
- Source: DEXTools detects each new liquidity pool the moment it is created on-chain, so a token is counted as soon as it has a tradable market.
- Window: an exact count over a rolling 60-minute window, per chain, refreshed every few minutes.
- Very high-volume chains: on chains like Solana that launch hundreds of pools per hour, the figure is extrapolated from a shorter exact sample and marked with a tilde (~).
- Honest by design: the tracker counts on-chain events. It does not judge or label any individual token.
Why new-token launch data matters
The pace of new launches is a fast read on market froth and risk appetite. A spike in new tokens on a chain often signals a memecoin wave forming there; a slowdown points to cooling sentiment. Traders watch it to spot which chains are heating up, and researchers use it to size the on-chain opportunity, and the noise.
